Meet Rockie, Duke and Ben our working Shire horses who will take you and your family to see the beautiful Dartmoor countryside on our traditional carriage.

We will be taking you on one of our daily rides where you’ll explore the wonderful thatched village of North Bovey and beyond! Step back in time on a trip down memory lane, travelling on our Shire horse and carriage through the old ford in this beautiful village. This relaxing ride offers an exciting opportunity to see how Dartmoor would have been many years ago.

Your ride will last approximately 30 minutes. We are an outdoor activity and follow all Covid safety guidelines. The carriage ride is for upto 6 people at one time & £80 for the whole carriage. Carriage rides must be prebooked and availablity is limited!
